To begin, we tested out the brand new eyeshadow and blush palette, but ended up underwhelmed. The products weren’t terrible, but colors seemed to just blend right into the same boring shade of warm brown. While the sparkly shades had more pigmentation, they were still lackluster. Although, I will say that the size of the palette and inclusion of a blush added to the value.

We can’t forget how we applied all of the eyeshadow and blush! The brush set seemed to be high quality and soft, with an adorable cactus stem. Nothing to complain about with this one.

Next up is the eyeliner. It’s basically the same as any tarte pencil eyeliner you would find, but for a slightly cheaper price. Its creamy, super pigmented, and lasted in the water lines. It’s a more amped up version of your favorite pencil eyeliner.

Lastly, I tested out the liquid lipstick, and tarte advertises a similar product. The pigmentation was great, but it settled in all of our lines, so unless you have a perfect pout this product isn’t for you!

Overall, Tarte has managed to make an appealing sister brand, but sadly it doesn’t stand up to the quality we were hoping for. Stick to the makeup brushes or the eyeliner if you need to get your hands on the collection.
